El Taller

El Taller sits on the corner of Avinguda Sant Domènec, with a terrace under Turia umbrellas. It’s a good place to eat and drink, and on Friday afternoons there’s often a get-together over drinks that’s nice for catching up; note that the kitchen closes at 17:00 on Fridays.

El Taller is a project by Xperanza: a restaurant where young people learn to cook and serve professionally. They come from the Netherlands and, in a short time, learn to cook and look after guests to a proper standard. A few days a week they have classes, and the rest of the week they work in the kitchen and on the floor.
