About me

Hello, I'm Jasper Plantinga. When I first arrived in Xaló by camper van in 2024, it felt like coming home. We kept coming back after that, and since 2026 we've lived here permanently, right in the middle of the village.

Xaló's shops, bars and restaurants can be hard to find online, so I started this site: one place for all of them, plus the other local businesses that don't usually get a mention. Easier to find, for everyone.

My wife and our two daughters come along on regular visits to the businesses, so the information stays accurate and up to date. For the cultural spots, we add our own experience too.
