Carnicería Pepita

Carnicería Pepita is a proper village butcher’s and charcutería in the middle of the village, run by very friendly people. It has been going since 1876, and its speciality is embutidos caseros (homemade cured sausages) and fresh meat.

Besides the meat and sausages there’s a shelf of groceries, handy for the one thing you’re still missing for dinner.

You’ll recognise it by the old tiled sign reading “Carneceria” above the door, with a small tile panel bearing the shop’s name next to it.

Outside opening hours it can look as if it has closed for good. It hasn’t.
