Peixos Guardiola

Peixos Guardiola is a well-kept secret. The shop is a little off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. Guardiola also has a sales van that calls at the other villages in the valley at set times, and takes orders too. If you live in one of them, the fish comes to you.

If you find the door shut, the front is worth a look anyway: plenty to see, and something to read. Beside the door is a poem about the sea by Maria Ibars, a poet from Dénia.
