El Mercat dels Dimarts

Every Tuesday morning the Plaça Major and the streets around it fill up with market stalls. Officially the market runs from 9:00 to 14:00, but in practice you can shop there well before that. It’s a small market, about fifteen stalls, and fruit and vegetables are what it’s really about. You’ll also find a charcuterie stall, nuts and dried fruit, jewellery, clothes, shoes and leather goods.

It’s a market for the weekly shop rather than a day out, unlike the Saturday Rastro. Bring cash: not every stall takes cards.

Coming by car? Park in one of the car parks around the village and walk the last bit. The square is right in the centre, so don’t try to drive up to it.
